Hi guys, does anyone know anything about reverse phone number lookup in the United Kingdom?

From what I have gathered there doesn't seem to be a publically available reverse lookup directory and the number I'm looking for doesn't seem to appear in any of the user generated ones (where people report calls from numbers).

Does anyone have any information on how to go about getting a name to a number I have? I do not want to publically release the number.

Thanks, I think I tried a couple of those before, the one claims to have information on the one number but wants you to buy a trace report, I then entered a completely bogus number and it also said it had information on it and wanted you to buy a trace report so I don't think its legit by any means lol. Still no luck with tracing this number but I think I've since got a pretty good idea about whose behind the number by doing some research on my own.
